Participation of young people is important when we talk about youth and peacebuilding. Without effective participation of young people, it is impossible to think of them as an active actor in the processes of peacebuilding. If the initiatives we are creating are not ensuring participation for the young people involved, then their contribution to peacebuilding is impossible. In this block we would like to provide you with some models and ideas to analyze how much young people are effectively engaged in your initiatives. When we talk about youth participation, we are trying to understand how young people are able to influence and decide important matters in the initiatives they are involved.
