How do we frame core concepts of peace work, specifically conflict, peace and violence in view to youth-led peacebuilding? What type of change and power do exist and what are their implications for peace work? What does transforming conflict mean to us as young peace builders? Building upon the basic and the intermediate course, this advanced course will concentrate on community youth-led peacebuilding. In this sense it goes beyond framing peacebuilding and the role of young people in peace processes (basic course) and the personal transformation of a young peace builder (intermediate course). The course rather focuses on how young peace builders can organise and device their own peacebuilding measures and pro-actively address issues of their concern at community level. For this the course does look at the following: Module 1 – Essential considerations Module 2 – Collective organising and community building Module 3 – Designing peace actions Module 4 – Specific peace building techniques
